Vintage School Chair in Tubular Metal and Plywood, 1960s

These two little school chairs have seen their fair share of toddlers! Typical of 1960s nursery schools, the chairs have a tubular metal frame painted in a lovely pearl gray. The seat and back are made of golden beech plywood. A perfect first chair for a bedroom or desk, or repurposed as a plant stand or bedside table, they offer the pleasure of preserving a piece of bygone French school days.

These chairs are vintage and date from the 1960s. The frame is made of chalk gray tubular metal. The seat and back are made of golden beech plywood. Stable, sturdy, and in good condition, they are suitable for children from 2 years old. Signs of wear are visible in the photos.
