REZL – NUDE.“ We then found another sculpture sold for €700, again excluding fees, at Meeting Art in Vercelli, Italy, at the auction of May 8, 2011, Lot No. 598, entitled „Putto with Doves.“ A small pair of bronze sculptures sold for €750, again excluding fees, at Bernaerts Auctioneers in Antwerp, Belgium, at the auction of March 20, 2018, Lot No. 203, entitled „Pair of Greenhouse-Bookcases of a Woman Hanging Against a Wall.“ Finally, we found the same sculpture, offered by a private individual in Czechoslovakia for 8,500 Kc, equivalent to €330, which in Czechoslovakia is about half the average salary, a remarkable price; compared to Italy, it is as if the asking price were €600-700.
